A bit of heaven after the garbage run

Well, if this is what they call freedom then I won't have any of it. Instead of working 30 hours, going to lectures and tutes, studying, looking after a small house (ok, it's a townhouse. A very small townhouse), eating breakfast, buying milk, hanging up the washing, cooking pasta, sleeping, shaving my armpits, meeting friends, cutting the bushes, cleaning the shower (how can it get moldy after one week? I don't understand. I guess that's what you get for living in a bloody semi-tropical place like this), paying the bills, cutting my toe nails, doing a radio show, going for a run, paying my tax, picking up the shirt from the dry cleaner, writing movie reviews, calling my mum, getting the shoes fixed and bringing out the garbage, now I just do everything minus the uni. Oh yeah, and 15 hours more work.

But you know what? I'm really just kidding. I seriously am, I promise. I just couldn't resist the temptation of having a bit of a nag. But I tell you what. It does feel like I have so much more time now that we're on semester break. Still not enough, there's never enough, but there's a lot more. Today I had time to spend a whole morning with my best friend doing bugger all. Absolutely nothing. Well, that's not true, technically. We did have a couple of cigarettes and a cup of coffee. And I went up to change the CD twice. God, I love mornings like that. Feels like heaven to me. Give me more!
