Just another day in the life of a blessed child

I had a letter from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship today

"Dear Bettina,

On behalf of the Government and people of Australia, I am delighted to advise that your application for Australian citizenship has been approved.

[...]

The final step in becoming an Australian citizen is the making of a Pledge of commitment. You will not be a citizen until you have made that pledge.

[...]

On behalf of the Government and all Australians I offer my warmest congratulations and best wishes for the years ahead."

That is awesome, Bettina. I am very happy for you. Making a commitment to something you want is the most positive thing you can do. Many people don't know what they want, or aren't interested in making the commitment to get there, but YOU DID IT! Awesome and congrats to you.

Merry Christmas you "dinkum Ozzie" whatever that means. Aggie said it first! I feel like I should have me mouth washed out with soap. HO! HO! HO! as the jolly fat man would say.
