I had the most beautiful message from a friend on my voicemail yesterday.
"Hello Miss B, I just wanted to call you and wish you a safe journey on your flight to Laos and then homebound to Switzerland. It was lovely to see you on Saturday, as always, and I'm really, really going to miss you. I really think that you are one of those... I think you are one of the angels that walks on this earth. That's pretty much how I sum you up, my dear, because you are the kindest, most generous person that I know, and you have a heart of gold... it's enormous. And I'm really, really proud to be a part of your life, and I hope I will be a part of your life for a very long time.
I'm gonna miss you, darling, you take care and I will definitely keep in touch with you, so... ok, I'm gonna go, otherwise I'm gonna start crying. You take care honey, and we'll be in touch, ok. I love you, bye."

That is a lovely message to get.
I was thinking that it wouldn't be long for you either Betts. I hope you will try to keep up the blogging as you get time along your travels.
I'm so excited for you as I know it's the start of a new adventure and chapter in your life.
They are definite landmark times in your life and you will want to remember them in later years.

This is only another adventure and part of the Big Picture for you. You have well wishes from all of your friends and Blog Buddies. Kind words always make transition a wee bit easier. Just don't forget where we are....waiting to hear from you of course. If I can say one thing about my adventures that might be of interest to you..I LOVED CHANGE! I loved meeting new people and seeing other places. It was great when no two days held the same challenge for me...I loved it all and would make a life of it. Think back fondly of the past, but keep going forward, until you find your place in the Sun, so to speak. We are all part of the fabric of your life, as you weave it, make it a beautiful tapestry.

all transition is difficult, both transition we choose and that which is thrust upon us. Communication and sharing make it easier to bear. That is how I am experiencing it at this moment.
