Hi, my name is Bettina and I live here.
Yes, yes, yes. I know. I has been way to long. So shame on me. You can tar and feather me, call me names and spit on me, as long as you only do it virtually. And as long as you don't mean it, of course. But thank you to those of you who have told me they missed me- you are stars and of course make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I actually have been back from India for about a month, but somehow just had a total lack of motivation to write my blog. Slack, I know, and a pathetic excuse, but it happens to the best of us, or so I hear. Anyway. Considering I have been absent for such a long time, it would probably be appropriate for me to write a big fat update now, but sadly that's not gonna happen as it is late and I've got an early morning tomorrow and have been having some monster days lately. I just wanted to drop by and tell you that I'm still alive and that I still love you and that it's not you, it's me. I swear.
Oh yeah, and here are some impressions from India. I will be back soon, and if not, you can tar and feather me for real. As long as you don't mean it.

No excuses! If you don't feel like blogging, you have to blog about that!
OK. There's your virtual tar and feathering. Actually, I don't think you even need and excuse. Check the sidebar on my blog next time you're out 'n' about. There's a button/badge/thing-to-click that says "Blogging Without Obligation," which will take you to a site that champions no apologies for not blogging when you...don't want to. No reason required. I agree. That's why that thingy is there, on my page.
Anyhow, glad you're alive and well, and didn't join the ashram(I's worried about that!;-), and we may well hear from you some more--when you damn well feel like it.
Meanwhile, lovely, lovely photo collection. Thank you...can't say that enough. These are great.

Glad you have finally returned to we ghost friends. I luv your photos, especially the one where you are petting your dog clyde. Such a long neck? I know you are a picky eater and all, but must you have the cow follow you home? McDonald's on the hoof so to speak. You must drive your roomates crazy when you do that. All kidding aside..Welcome home.

Glad you posted. I was beginning to worry. The pictures are beautiful. I love all the pictures of the people. Such beautiful colors.
Don't worry about posting - we've all been there.

Welcome Back Betts. What fantastic photos - it looks so very colourful. I have no doubt you had a ball. I'm not into blogging at the moment either ... I simply don't have anything fresh to say. Maybe I need a trip away ... to India or somewhere ... lol!

Amazing Amazing picture Betts! So glad to see you even though it's for a short bit. We all need a break sometime!
India seems so beautiful and so very sad all at the same time!
Hope to have you back soon as you're ready! No tar and feathering I skipped out for a bit too and now I'm back!
All the best always,
M

A.Decker- Thank you- I definitely like the way you think. The "blogging without obligation" resolution is right up my alley- in theory. In praxis I still find it hard to not apologise at all if I don't blog for a while.
Sera- Oh, thank you, my beautiful friend. You know, everything you say always makes me feel great. You should make a profession out of it. I'm sure there must be money in this.
Dorothy- Hi there, and very welcome to my humble little word. I'm a sporadic and random blogger right now but if you stick around for a bit, you might even get to see the creative, motivated blogger side of me too... Lovely to have you here anyway.
Mystic- Thank you, my friend. And to answer your question: Yes, I MUST ALWAYS take the cow home. Always. You know me.
Callie- How sweet that you worried about me- but there's no need. And thanks for the compliment.
Aggs- Well, apparently India does nothing for your blogging inspiration, as much as it does a hell of a lot for all kinds of other inspirations. I'd definitely recommend it. Highly.
M- You are so right- India is so beautiful and so sad at the same time. It is everything at the same time. Glad to see you around too- I thought you stopped hopping around in bloggosphere altogether.

Hey there; just blog hopping and landed on your site. Which looks great by the way. I'm Sri Lankan so I've never been to India, but from your pictures it honestly looks vibrant and lively. I think everyone should get to travel to a far off destination at least once; sights like these really stay in your mind.
Anyways, hope you have a good one!
